Teacher Angelica is truly one in a million, and we absolutely adore her at Mountain School! As our SPED teacher, she brings an incredible 35 years of experience in education, having served in many different roles throughout her career. We are so lucky that she is spending her retirement years with us.

Teacher Angelica holds her students to high standards and teaches them to learn to earn. She believes deeply in their potential, and with every child she works with, she finds something special to celebrate. Listening to her describe students’ strengths in meetings is such a gift—it makes you want to be one of her students.

Her generosity extends far beyond the classroom. She and her husband lovingly support our basketball and volleyball teams, spoiling them with water, snacks, and “good vitamins” (aka treats!) to keep their energy up and spirits high.

Angelica is an integral part of our team. She supports not only our students but also the adults on campus, always stepping in to help wherever she’s needed. She is deeply valued, greatly appreciated, and such an important part of the heart of Mountain School.
